DIETONE: Sign up and take part, loose weight and make art.

DIETONE

The Art Collective based on the Theory of Disruption is currently working on a new musical pattern project called DIETONE; and we would like you to contribute.

We’re looking for people interested in logging their own weight over a 13-days period (i.e. day 1: 84.7kg, day 2: 85,2kg … day 13: 85,7kg). The idea is that we’ll use each weight curve in an atonal framework, to create harmonious scales, ending in a contemporary sonata + a ringtone. Basically, making music from the body to the mind.

We’ve already spoken to the Berliner Philharmoniker, which will help us bring this to life once the logging is done (fingers crossed)!

As part of this, I’ve also started, in consultation with the Rigshospitalet – Copenhagen University Hospital, a hardcore weight-loss programme. I’m not fat and need to loose weight; we’re just making music.

Please let us know if you’re interested helping us out.
Sign up and take part, loose weight and make art.

Art pick of the month in Attitude Magazine

September 23, 2008

Attitude Magazine selected The Art Collective Based On The Theory of Disruption as Art Pick of the Month.

“… A mindset that simply wants art to complement the wallpaper and soft furnishings will no doubt fail to appreciate the output of the duo behind The Art Collective Based On The Theory of Disruption.
